A brand new Field Force Optimizer application has been developed by BCA to help

  • model the effect of marketing plans on the number of Pharma Sales Representatives (PSRs);
  • analyse product portfolio and define synergies: the result of product configuration assignments can be simulated and optimized;
  • calculate headcount figures even in case of multiple organizational structures running paralell;
  • define territory alignment: the efficient distribution of resources is assisted by a brick-level map;
  • use an optimizing chart with multiple parameters (frequency, coverage, daily and product limits, target area, etc);

The Field Force Optimizer application development project was supported by the European Union and cofinanced by the European Regional Development Fund. The project data are the following:

  • Tender code and name: KMOP-1.1.4-09 – tender construction named Central-Hungary Operative Program To Support Corporate Innovation.
  • Project name: Development of a software to modell and support the construction of optimal organization size based on personal call marketing activities.
  • The aim of the project: to improve efficiency of the Field Force team of companies (primarily pharmaceutical companies) conducting activities based on personal calls (eg. product introduction) and to define the optimal size and structure of such teams. Also, to develop the software product to conduct the analysis and to prepare for related consultancy tasks.
  • Total budget of tender: 37.016.738 Ft.
  • Total subsidy received: 16.657.532 Ft.
